HELP!!! Engine Start Issues
For the past two days my 335i has been having trouble starting, particularly after sitting for a long period of time.
I insert the key...., press the START button, and all I hear is ::tick tick tick tick tick:: .... engine starts. Sounds painful and as if there's a misfire. I dont have any engine modifications except for a JB1, which I've had for 6 months or so, and have not had an issues like this before... Another failure occured when i was driving last night, cruising down the street in 1st gear from a stop, and my car went out of gear and went into Neutral. Dont know whats going on. Any advice besides taking it to BMW or idea of what might be going on? Thanks guys! |

HPFP is the most obvious issue if it takes long cranks to start the car.
