Just got this cool performance steering wheel as a gift for my birthday!!

Self install or head for the dealer?
PS. My car is step and has the shift paddles too (not shown in pic).

Nice!! I've been wanting one of those forever. There's a DIY somewhere for the wheel, doesn't look too bad. Probably check that out then decide.

not really,

just hatin that i cant get that steering wheel ...
they busted the window on my 328 to get a measly radar detector...

I'm not chancing throwing that wheel in on my 335 and then come up short....

install is not that hard whole dash needs to come apart to run the wires for the little module. They go somewhere behind the glove box. Here's a pic of my car all torn apart when I installed mine.

oh and congrats on the cool wheel, your going to love it!

Thanks guys for the kind remarks... as it says, I really am a doctor and the gift was from my wife.... she's a dentist!

As for the install, I have a complete tool room with all tools imaginable... I like to do things myself... however, for the PSW I was a bit worried with the wiring...

Still undecided!
