Smears onthe inside
Whenever I clean the car and put the windows up and down I get a long smear on the inside of the glass.
This is on an E92. Its really annoying, is this normal does it happen to anyone else???? |

Wipe the top edge of your window and the seal around the opening when you dry your car.

I get an up and down line on the inside of the glass and I assumed it's particular pressure on that part of the glass as it goes up and down from the mechanism/seals/etc. 'cos it's always in the same place.
I'll try more specific drying of the door seals next time I wash it. |

It's a product they put on the seals to stop them squeeking. After a while of cleaning the inside of the window it stops becoming as apparent - had it on both my e93 and the current e92 - it was put on by the bucket load on the e93 by the stealer to stop the squeeking and the e93 had it straight from the factory....

I got this sorted under warranty, not sure of the fix, all they would say is they cleaned something. Doesnt look like they have removed the door cards.
