Open Tracks In LA Area

Does anyone know of any tracks that have open days that are around the LA area? Thanks

no track will have "open" days. they can all be rented privately if you have got the dough or enough people to chip in.

well i dont know if you would consider it a track
but irwindale has strip thats open to anyone with a car and license on thursday night
its called tnt
you can race with your friends or other people 20 bucks to race all night i think open at 5-10
something like that

check out organizations that have track days - speed ventures, speedtrialUSA, nasa open-track, etc. And watch for BMWCCA sponsored events. That's the most economical way to start going to track days.

California Speedway has a drag strip and there are events there all the time where you can race your car.

Im from the area too and the closest track would be about 40 mins. away, at California Speedway.

Non of these places are "open". you can't just show up on any random day at any random time and run laps.
