Actually you've just given an old car a facelift in much the same way as old women go to plastic surgeons for facelifts. It's still a 2007.
Can't help you much with the lights issue. Quick flashing lights on older cars was an indication that one of the four bulbs was out. This was because the circuit was drawing more current and heating the bi-metal strip faster. I doubt if the E90 uses the flasher switch anymore.

Not as bad as converting a regular 3 to an M3 I suppose. What was wrong with modding it as a regular E90 Pre LCI then? Just curious... |

Almost certainly the wiring looms have changed and you'll need to modify the existing wiring loom which will be the easiest way. i don't think it'll be feasible changing the entire loom, as there will probably be other modules as part of that loom.
You need a good independent BMW specialist who will be willing to tackle the wiring issue for you. ps.. I've moved this thread to the Technical Section on your behalf...

Fast flash you are gonna have to fool the BCU somewhat - a big task.
Any pics of your conversion?

You will have to work out what pins on the light to what and then work out what cable does what and connect them to the relevant pin.
Have you got a multi metre?

i know that on the e46 bmws, if the rear lights were changed to led (as in your case), the light module in the car(the thing you switch ur lights on with) needed to changed and also required a reprogram (only a few hours work) by bmw or a good indy.
i believe that this is what you are going through now.... |

That must have cost a fair bit to do that conversion!
- front lights - front grille with spots - front bumper - facelift bonnet - rear lights - rear boot lid - rear bumper Guessing that lot for parts alone is in the £2k region?!

probably what you have spent doing this and what your gonna spend sorting it out, you would have benn better using the money and trading in your car for a face lift.

Mate you need resistors for the LED's on the lci rear lights, check out the US forums and speak to a guy called e90 andy he can create a wiring loom with the correct resistors for you... I had my xenon retrofit and got him to sort me out the load resistors, so I dont get errors from my xenons... And enjoy the LCI look
