You haven't been looking in the right places. When I was looking for my car, there were plenty of M3's right at 25K that had less miles than that. Too far out of warranty for me, but they seemed to be at about 50k miles. I have a friend that will be selling his Laguna Blue M3 for around $22k. It has 50K immaculate miles.

Realistically, set aside a few hundred a month so that when repairs are needed, the money is there. The repairs are no joke, there is nothing free or baragain basement when it comes to BMW. My cousin kept his receipts over 10 years and they totalled 26k (E36 m3). Plus insurance $$$ is a consideration. 25k is not a lot to spend on a car, imho a person wants to be able to drive it, not have the 25k be the first 1/2 of the cost of ownership.

Exactly, the person on the other end of the sale is not exactly stupid. They enjoyed the best years of the car, and are unloading it now that the cost of repairs vs. enjoyment factor has quadrupled.

BMW 335i (coupe or sedan) probably will be listed with at $27,000, but you should be able to get it for $25,000.
