How to replace the e90 sidemarker bulbs

Hey guys, I checked the owners manual and having a bit of trouble. Thought i'd ask before I forced the sh!t out of it and break something.

Now, I already removed the sidemarker assembly from the fender. The thing is I cant get the bulb holder off the back of the sidemarker assembly. Suggestions? Thanks!

It's delicate but you need to twist the white plastic piece from the housing itself. Be careful as you can brake the prong that holds it in place but if you do, it's not a huge problem.

Use a thin flat head and free out that tab. If you twist too hard it'll snap that tab broken.

Tried all of the above on mine and broke both of them anyway. Still fit tight with no problems. Was trying to fit an led light in there but the first was not very bright and the second had a 6 led array that wouldnt fit through the hole.
