Test Drove 2010 Audi S4
It is sweeeeet!
Very well damped ride. No leaning through the corners. Let's you know bumps are there but they don't annoy you. Feels nice and taunt. Engine note sounds great. Nice whine from the supercharger and smooth, smooth, smooth V6. Dare I say almost as smooth as BMW's inline 6. No lag in power at all, feels normally aspirated. 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Deceptively fast. Interior quality is top notch. Not a big fan of the aluminum detail on the dash but everything else looks nice. Good seats, could hug a little tighter. Only $45K U.S. or about $52KCDN. That is all. |

I've driven it a few times, both trannys. The S tronic is fantastic paired with the motor.. and I love MT
I disagree about the body roll, it's definitely there. Coming from a car on coilovers almost any car is going to have it, the obvious aside. 52k CAN is very base, no premium, or any cool options. I agree the Alum trim cheapens the amazing interior though, even though I like it in my coupe. For $500 you can have the carbon atlas trim. I actually think the seats are perfect for a car like itself, tight but not suffocating. I feel ZSP seats are too tight on my sides some days. Guess that depends on your size though. I will add overall the car just isn't as 'tight' as my 335i. This is probably attributed to the coilovers on my car and the rear wheel drive. As nice as quattro/awd is, there is loss in steering feel. Regardless, the car is a great all arounder which I can appreciate. My Dad has a Loaded Meteor grey on black leather MY 10' coming in February. The options really bring the price up, as with any German car. Some are really nice, Audi Drive Select, B&O stereo, and Sport Diff to name a few. Car came in at about 69k. Might just be my next car, depending what the F30 is like. I'm sure BMW won't disappoint with the bread n' butter. Some coils and wheels would set it off Last edited by BMdblU; 12-30-2009 at 12:34 AM.. |

...and yeah, the S5 I was looking at came up to $74k when it's loaded properly... the 74k price tag is only part of the problem... the other part: 6.5% APR... wtf man lol

I'm a big fan of the S4, but I think the MMI would drive me crazy. I just can't understand why all of the motoring journalists go on about how intuitive it is. I had an S5 for a few days and an A5 for a week or so. In both cases, I just found all of the buttons around the controller to be really maddening.

biggest thing I didn't like were
1. 4000 lb curb weight 2. ugly as sin tail lights other than that, Audi has a winner and some serious competition for the 335's, especially at $45-50k oh and sorry for jumping into the canadian sections... I just saw the thread on the new posts page. |

looking more like $50k for a premium plus with a few options and about $53k optioned out with all the good stuff. I don't see a need for the prestige since you can basically add stuff to the premium plus to make it the prestige and it comes out cheaper in the end. |

Audi have designed some good cars as of late but this S4 is not one of them.
1. All Audis look the same now except for the R8 and TT 2. Interior is too dull but yet its still so busy, how is it possible for BMW to have the same functions but only uses half as many buttons 3. I wonder how easily the SC can be tuned relative to the old B5 S4 turbo or even the current 2.0 T-FSI engines |

MTM already has a chip for it and although its pricey its said that APR and GIAC will have theirs out shortly for a more reasonable price with just as good of numbers. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313543 |
