e92 335i radio problem.

Just bought a 335i e92. Bought it with a radio problem. It has navi and everything on the screen works but no sound from speakers.. Any ideas?

Does your door and seatbelt chime work? Ive found that if the optical plug under driverside dash is unplugged that all functions of the radio work yet no sounds at all from speakers.
