Any Lightweight 18's?
I am looking for a staggered 18" setup for my 07 335i sport. I live in an area where the roads are absolute junk and I don't think 19's will survive. I wanted an 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 (or 10) setup.
I like the look of the Rial Daytona Race, but I heard they are heavy and no longer available stateside. I also like the look of the EmPower wheels, but they have limited offsets and only paintend finishes (I am looking for a more polished silver finish, not painted). Any suggestions? Thanks! |

OZ Racing one piece wheels, from Tirerack.com. Very light (22lbs?), not too expensive. OZ wheels are used on everything from F1 race cars to Subaru rally cars.
You might also want to consider ASC, also from Tirerack. They have an agreement with BBS to make wheels in Korea using BBS designs and specs. No they are not as nice as German made BBS wheels, but they are 1/3 or less of the price and light (24-25lbs each). But don't take my word for it, google both companies. And see how they look on your car on Tirerack's website. |

OZ wheels are much lighter than that (around 18-19 lbs per 18" wheel)...Forgestar is another lightweight wheel (18 lbs per 18" wheel).

Thanks Guys. The OZ Superlegarra III is really nice, but very expensive and surprisingly heavy (25 lbs. for an 18). Unfortunately, I am not crazy about the other multi-spoke designs.
The ASA's are only available in 18x8's, so too narrow. The forgestar F14F looks promising (I really like the F10, but it only comes in a 20"). Any ideas on pricing? They are probably going to be $$$$. The Miro Type 279 and 368 are very nice, but don't seem to be made in the right sizes. I also like the Linea Corse, anyone know anything about the Lemans? It comes in a 8.5/10 stagger. Seem a bit heavy 24/27. |

I got O.Z. Ultraleggera as a summer setup and they're pretty lightweight. Front 18x8 (18.6lbs) rear 18x9 (20.8lbs.) <- weights according to TireRack.

You are right the F10's are only in a 20" and as far as the F14F we can get those in a 18". These wheels are a custom 2 piece Modular Forged wheel. Ill shoot you a PM on the pricing! Kevin |

Volk RE30s. 17.5 lbs. Forged, rock solid. You just missed a bargain on a set of Merc silver from Tirerack.

Check out BBS rg-r's. They're available in 18x8.5/9.5 with proper offset. I wanted to buy these but didn't want to spend that much money.

Guys-
I had advans on my evo, so that is not a look I am trying to repeat. But, I agree, they are great wheels. I am also intrigued by the Work VS-XX. They are a bit heavy, but absolutely stunning. I am trying to see if they come in our bolt pattern. Any thoughts on these? |
