New LCI e92 Mtech rear diffuser question...
Hey guys,
I think most of us are in agreement that the LCI Mtech rear bumper looks pretty damn nice. Here is my current situation: I am in the process of completing the Mtech kit transformation on my e92 335. I've done the front and will be getting the sides installed next week. I haven't ordered the rear bumper yet, b/c I really like the LCI MTech rear bumper. Now, IF you guys think that the NEW LCI Mtech rear diffuser will fit the current Mtech rear bumper, then I would just finish my Mtech transformation and order the LCI rear diffuser when it comes out. BUT, if you think that the LCI rear diffuser will only fit the LCI Mtech rear bumper, then I would just wait. What are your thought? Will the current Mtech rear bumper be able to house the new LCI mtech rear diffuser as seen in this picture: ![]()

Yes it should fit. I don't think they redesigned the rear bumper, just made a new diffuser. Same thing goes for the E90 Msport bumper + performance diffuser.

Thanks Sam. I would think that it would fit too, but just wanted to see what others have to say.

Does anyone have an LCI E92 yet? If not, then everyone is just speculating.
The front won't fit for sure. The rear diffuser is a maybe. I think some minor modifications will have to be made to make it fit properly. |

I was seriously considering VRS diffuser for the Mtech rear bumper, but didn't want to pay close to $1K just for a diffuser. So, I guess I'll have to wait for the LCI Mtech diffuser, and just hope it'll fit. I'll fork up $400-500 bucks, but not one grand. I just don't like the current stock Mtech diffuser. Too bland IMO, especially if you have a dark colored car like mine.

Nahhh I have those lines on my M-Tech rear as well. The diffusor should fit. If it doesnt, im sure it would with minor adjustments.

![]() I am pretty certain that this diffuser and the LCI e92 taillights will be the hottest items out in a few months for pre-lci e92 owners. If they both fit, sign me up now ![]()

Also waiting for word on this... would definitely go with this rear if it'll bolt right up to my 2008 coupe.

I had exactly the same thought -- a more aggressive version of the Aero rear.
And I've always liked the old Aero bumper better than the Mtech. So we're going to need a Group Buy on this when it's available for sale. Evan!?! ![]()

I'm in the same boat. I might hang out for the LCI diffuser because the Vorsteiner one is $1k which is insane!!!!
Also looks like the LED tails will be direct fitment swaps. |

![]() 1. Looks great 2. Unique (not going to find many e92/e93s with this diffuser, that's for sure!) But when I stepped back and stopped drooling (LOL)....I felt the same as you guys. I am not about to drop $1G on a rear diffuser, no matter how nice.

As soon as this stuff is available to order, we'll be sure to add it to our specials catalog for ya'll! We are definitely hoping the led tails will work on the pre-facelift coupes as well!
![]() The e90/91 rear M sport and BMW Performance bumpers were the same, and the diffusors are interchangeable....so hopefully this will hold true for the coupe versions once they are released. Stay tuned!
