Two Warning Lights
Parked the car on Friday night and all was well. Started my beauty up on this mornng to drive home and I've got two yellow warning lights. One is for the DTC (triangle with semi circle arrow around it) and one for the brakes (circle with exclamation mark and two thicker arcs on each side of the circle).
Went straight to the nearest stealer and they had no idea as there were no service guys in. Mangaed the 100 mile trip home no problem, but just wondering if anyone else has had the same two lights and what the problem was. Phoning my stealers tomorow to get them to sort it out, still under warranty as the car was only bought in October (07 plate). |

Hi
Yeah I had a smilar set of pictures on my 335i last month after going to the chippy! Just got back into it started it up and it was like a christmas tree. Dropped it into the dealer and he said it needed a software "reboot / upgrade" without even checking which made me think this was a familiar problem. Stealer did the upgrade and all seems fine now. It too was a warranty job. I have heard other people on this forum complain about having to have a new DTC unit (I think thats it!) so I hope yours is as simple as mine was. Good luck |

This is a DSC unit failure, most likely. If you press the DTC button, no lights come on, or go out. I recently had mine repaired under warranty - have a quick search and you'll find lots of posts about it!
