PBX Box install help

Hi all,

I'm in Northern Chicago suburb (Gurnee & Lake Villa) and would like a referral for a shop or individual to help installing a PBX box and maybe some other mods. I have a 2008 328i coupe. Please help.

Thanks.

Depends on what mods. For easier stuff, I know the guy who owns the Firestone in Hainesville. You might think, ugh, a chain...but he is really good. Although I prolly wouldn't do anything overly complicated there.

The proximity may be worth it given where you live. For the more complex stuff, +1 on VS.

I dunno. Call him 847-986-3579. Ask for Joe and tell him Al from QBS sent you.

oh I'll help you right now...

1. Take the pbx and place firmly in the trash
2. Find keys to car
3. Start car and back out of driveway
4. Drive down to Eurocharged/LET in Plainfield
5. Have Tony custom tune your ECU map
6. Have a much quicker car and nothing for the dealership to trace when you go in for service.

Dispite your dislike, there are many folks who really love their PBX by BMS...

Lotsa ppl praise it, imo in the end it's just the equivalent of a heavy foot. Doesn't really do anything performance-wise, just makes the car think your stepping on the trottle harder than you really are.

I would aim for smoother power delivery/flow personally; but not much options there so i guess if you got extra money to spend, go for it
