BMW extended warranty, misfires and a few other Q's

He everyone,

I am taking my car to the dealer on Thursday to be inspected for the BMW extended warranty program. I have 40,000 miles on her today.

Obviously i am taking my JB3 out, but leaving the DCI in (been to the dealer with it many times.) I recently scanned my codes and i have about 6 misfires (2 from cylinder 1, 2 from cylinder 5 and the rest are "misfire multiple cylinders)

I have been to the dealer for misfires 2 times already. Should i insist they open a PUMA case as others have done to their cars. And what exactly is a PUMA case?

I also have some HVAC code (A092) and an airbag code (A092 as well). Other than that, i dont have any codes, so this means no tuner code correct?

I am set on buying the extended warranty, but i would love to hear your thoughts on it...

Thanks for your insight/discussion

I had the same situation at 40k with the same mods. I took them all out including the DCI and scaned for any tuner codes before going in. I had the same codes and they just replaced my all my injectors and the misfires stopped.

+1, put the stock airbox back. Don't give them any wiggle room to blame your DCI. It only takes about 45 minutes from start to finish and a few scraped knuckes.
