First time at the Drag Strip with the 335

Like the title says last Wed was the first time at the track with the 335. My car is an 07 E90 335 steptronic with a JB3 and the BMS dual cone intake. I was pretty pleased as I ran on the stock Conti run-flats with 93 octane on map 7. I ran at Orlando Speed World on the test and tune night. Here's the break down:

Run 1:
13.34 @ 108 2.24 60'
* tried man. shifting and the car shifted to 2nd for me and I bumped it into 3rd early all other runs made in DS mode.

Run 2:
12.94 @ 108 2.21 60'

Run 3:
13.03 @ 107 2.14 60'

Something I noticed both on and off the track when I either get on the car hard from a stop or a low speed roll, there is a rather long amout of lag time in between the 2-3 shift. It feel like torque mangament which is understandable to be programmed in by BMW as to limit the shock load on the trans between shifts. Just curious if anyone else feels this 2-3 shift lag?

Shouldn't you be running map 5 with your mods?

Could be the source of lag is really your car pulling timing. Do you see it on all maps or just above 5?

I get it on Map 5 too, it feels similar to how a GM trans (4L60E, 6L80E...) shifts stock during full throttle up shifts. Most all auto cars will retard timing on up shifts I'm not saying its a problem. I run map 7 with no issues, the mid to upper RPM power is very evident as compared to 5. I used my father's shop Launch Module oem level scan tool to watch for knock during high load and there was no difference between map 5 and 7 on my car.
