i think i have nackerd them, used one of those hoovers with water to get the muck off my seats theyve came up brilliant but i didnt think at the time about the airbag

There is a weight sensor that is activated if there is pressure exceeding 15kg on the seat. This probably means that your sensor is short circuiting and theoretically should go back to normal once the fluid dries up (previously happened to my E60 525i, and resolved spontaneously). I'd be very surprised if you end up having to replace anything.
