FS: '08 E92 M3 Seats, Black Novillo, New

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Purchased from Phozenstone (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318006), thought I could get them in my '09 E90, but ultimately could not make them work. They bolted in perfectly and electrics even worked but there was no place to mount the seat belt. My mistake, lesson learned.

These seats are amazing, slightly wider than non-M sport seats and more supportive. They fit me perfectly. I wish I could have figured something out for my sedan.

They are power, with lumbar, but I'm not sure about heat. If an interested buyer can tell me how to determine that I will be happy to check.

Anyway, for sale again. Everything I have is pictured below, except I also have the emergency-brake boot cover, not pictured.

$2750, local pickup or I can arrange to deliver them a reasonable distance for a reasonable fee. I will not ship them.

I understand interested buyers may want the fronts only, but the rears will do nothing for me - I'm selling them only all together.

These came off of an '08 E92 M3 so that is the only model I can be positive they will fit into. I *think* they would fit any E92 but please confirm for your vehicle and feel free to PM me for additional pics, specific measurements, etc.

If you have an '09 or later, you will need the crash-active head restraints. I have them. Bought them from Tischer when I was more hopeful about getting the seats in my '09. PM me for further discussion on those if necessary.

Also note I'll be putting these up on both eBay and that other popular bmw forum.

Any other questions feel free to ask here or by PM.

Thanks,
Howard

I bet Long Tran can make some magic for you if you pay his flight tickets and labor, he may get it pulled off if you want to keep that interior :-)

I didn't realize that I'm not automatically subscribed to a thread just because I created it.

It needs to be a coupe, of course, but it *should* work especially in an '08, but I cannot guarantee. But you're in Chicago...

1/3 balls, .667 stupidity. The seats mounted, plugged in and worked. Sweet. Then I go to bolt in the seat belt - that was the moment of stupidity. I was even willing to drill and tap for the seat belt - the plate is just as thick and solid as in the sedan. But the shape is just different enough that the hole in the seat belt doesn't sit flat against enough of the plate to allow drilling. If I explained that right.

I am so freakin disappointed that I'm seriously considering taking a big $$ hit and trading in for my same car but with sport package.

yeah, that would have been an even neater trick. Joking aside though, yeah, all electrics worked in the front seats including the coupe-only front/back switch on the top of the seat.
