RE: 4 months Use of Stett CAI Part Out
Hi Fellow HK E90 Forum Members,
I have a very new Stett CAI for sell and whilst, it will save some of your waiting time and as well, shipping time to send it all the way from the States to HK!! Meanwhile, Chad of Stett is doing his mod parts for our 335 by his own whereby, he always has back order situation! I was waiting for almost 1.5 month from the day I confirmed my order till the stuffs arrived in front of me... The reason for taking out is due to my new JB 2.0 required a different set up in maximize the air flow whereby, I have to let go w/o any choice! If you are familiar with our 335 CAI, Stett is very popular within the 335 community which claimed ato be the most cooliest CAI among all other manufacturers by having the Filter installed behind the lower front bumper in getting away with the engine bay heatsoak occurence. I merely use for 4 months plus 2,000kms usage only, thus, it is no different w/ brand new!! Here is the review & comparisn thread for Stett w/ other manufacturers;- http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=Stett+CAI More info about the Stett CAI;- http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=Stett+CAI Here is the write up and pictures of how Stett different than others in terms of set up & filter positioning;- http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=Stett+CAI Buzz me an offer by PM or else, I will post in our forum's part selling section which will be let go within a week if price is right with my offer of Free Shipping to all 48 States...my lost, your gain.... ![]() Matt

Hi Renus,
I just did the swap in my friendly garage where you also goes to...feeling great!! Meanwhile, I've logged the data of my car with the air flow proven to be better with data supported!! I'll let you know when we meet next time.....I'll call it special sauce CAI in my opinion!

Stett is the best in terms of the positioning which is the best CAI... in terms of Cold Air! However, the flow rate is not enough though.... I just purchased the two cones version to replace w/ one cone setting of Stett though!!

I know what you mean......it is a matter of trade off!! If you want the real CAI, Stett is the one and whereas, two cones are having a better flow rate for sure but cannot avoid to sucking hot air from engine bay inside the crank!! However, my FMIC can compensate this shortcoming...
