Stg 2 is fine for him. Remember, those map usage suggestions are just that, suggestions. And we are very conservative with our suggestions. But judging by the consistency of the results, the tune could even be made more aggressive.

The truth is, v4 users can usually run 1 (or sometimes even 2) stages higher than v3 users since it has a iron clad grip on boost targeting. Whereas v3, like other traditional piggyback tunes, is subject to boost range variation due to the DME's air intake temp compensations.

OP-- Looks great. Email me the logs/dyno runs and i can host/post them for you. Email is shiv@vishnutuning.com.

Cheers,
Shiv

gotcha...so fair to say I should just stick with my stage 1 maps till I upgrade to a V4.

Shouldn't you dyno your car with 5th gear for a 1:1 gear ratio...?

Nope... That is way too tall of a gear. Plus, you'd run into the speed limiter well before the end of the run.

Ignition correction of 200?

I thought 100 was the default correction.

Hey....if it's working for ya don't mess with it!

But I do think 100% is the default setting.....but IIRC there was a point where some maps were released with 200% as the setting.

No wonder you can run stage 2.....your timing advance is probably reduced enough to compensate.

The proof is in the numbers

Actually, the OP is probably running old user software that would effectively double the ignition correction % on the newer maps. Either that, or he's reading the ignition correction % setting without comms between the laptop and the Procede. He is still running the same actual default values as everyone else.

95 hp with just DCI is just phenomenal! Am I mistaken to say that with V3 +50 to +60hp might be the max gain with just DCI.

Curious to know what full bolt ons (on pump gas) would achieve with V4........
