longer cranks before engine starts.... evident of early fuel pump failure?

the title says it all, it was painfully evident last night, the engine cranked for 10 seconds before it could start, is this early signs of the infamous N54 fuel pump failure?

I have a pre-lci e90 335i

What codes to dealers typically need to justify the replacement of the pump?

Basically with my car they kept it over night and tried to start the car in the morning and replicated the issue and then simply replaced the HPFP.

I have the full details on test they ran on invoice that the dealership provided.

I'll see what the mechanic says tmr when I take it in to have them look at it, hopefully they can find the faults and fix them sooner rather than later
