shipping to California?

Hi

I want to know if i will be charged any sales tax if i ship an item to California as I know California is different to other areas in the USA?

what else should i consier when sending to California??

no, you won't be charged any sales tax to ship to CA. Although i'm not sure how international shipping works, and whether or not there are any duties placed. However, if so, i think that would be the responsibility of the buyer/person you're shipping to.

If the business you are buying from has a location in California, you will be charged California sales tax. If it is a wheel shop located ONLY in Florida, for example, they cannot charge you sales tax. Also, on a side note, make sure you NEVER pay sales tax on labor.

I believe the shipping company Fedex or UPS charges you the international taxes on the item when you claim its value.

in his post, he's talking about shipping TO california.
