GVA: Anyone have a friend that owns a 2008+ G35 sedan with 19's?
Just taking a long shot. My GF owns a 2008 G35 sedan. I'm thinking of getting her some 19's (M45 wheels). She has 17" OEM wheels, on stock suspension.
I realize that the ride will be a little harsher with 19's, but the G has a softer suspension OEM than the 335i. With 19's, I will likely get a mild lowering kit for the G. If you know anyone that has a 2008+ G35 sedan on 19's (lowered or not), could you ask if they would mind if I took a ride in it? Want to know if the ride will be the same, or better (as in plush) than my 335i. If it's similar (preferably better), I'm gonna get the wheels and lower (slightly). TIA. |

FWIW my previous car was a G35 coupe, 6MT sport with the OEM 19s. The ride in my e92 is much stiffer.
The run flats probably contribute to a large portion of that however even with my winters on which are non RFT the suspension still feels much tighter. I think you will be fine. |
