ZF Automatic Transmission

So from hotrod's experimentation with nitrous, we see that a weak link for the auto's is the transmission. I saw some information from another fellow forum member posted in hotrod's thread about the ZF transmission. I'm wondering if we can upgrade our transmission or if any of these ZF trannys can be directly swapped in and how much it costs? I think it's a worthy upgrade that has a completely slip free torque converter that can sustain up to 850 Nm coupled with lighting fast shifts. Imagine being able to spray nitrous through shifts and also having an LSD. Thoughts anyone? Any vendors on here sell the ZF tranny?

I found some company's offering upgrades for the older ZF transmissions , guess it should be possible on the newer ones too.

I don't think a bolt on replacement with a heavier model is possible.

I think our auto trannys are very strong. Hotrod spraying through the shift is a no no, but when you want to break records you can't be a punk lol. The best thing to do is to get a progressive controller than can shut the nitrous down before the shift, or just let off the freaking button lol.
