Hi guys,
Got a pretty big update that I'd like to get out into the field. Been testing it internally for the last two weeks with great results. So it's time to spread the love. All of the new features are CAN based. There are actually 9new features active with the new firmware/maps. But I'm only going to disclose 5 right now. We will show you how to activate the remaining features after a few more days. Disclosed New Features: 1) 6MT CANshift This feature is similar to what bogfix did with v3 applications. But since v4 doesn't actually bog, what this new feature does is accelerate the time it takes for the actual throttle to ramp back up to 100% after a shift. It also prevents the throttle from closing fully during quick shifting. Which means that it is *very* easy to hold 6-10psi of boost between shifts. This feature contributed greatly to the .2-.3 reduction in ET on our 6mt test car. 2) Progressive Mapping Strategy Gone are different "stage" maps. Instead, there are only 2 maps. One for 6AT. And one for 6MT. Now, the map is progressively adjustable from 0 to 100% as defined in the User Torque entry. An entry of 0% will result in a very conservative Stg 0 map which runs 12-12.5psi peak boost. Whereas a setting of 100% will result in a Stg 5 map which runs 17-18psi peak boost. With ignition correction set to 0, this is the same exact map I use on my car to run 11.50@125-126mph (no nitrous) on race gas and meth (with ignition correction set to 0%). For quick reference, and to make parallels with previous mapping methodology, User Torque setting of 20% roughly equals the old "Stg 1" maps. 40% equals old "Stg 2". 60% equals old "Stg 3". 80% is old "Stg 4. And 100% is new Stg 5. Of course, these are just good starting points. There is no reason you can't adjust the User Torque value around if you see fit. Just remember that running too high of a UT setting for your given mods/octane will result in inconsistent performance. So datalogging is your friend if you want to maximum power. The reason we adopted this new mapping strategy will make more sense with the next big firmware update (auto-tuning!). Imagine a constantly self-tuning map with near infinite adjustability always giving you the end result you are looking for. It's going to be wicked awesome (pardon the fake boston accent). 3) Nitrous/staged Methanol CANtroller I think I've probably blabbed enough about this during the past week or so. It works and it's safe as can possibly be given the fact that we are now coming close to DOUBLING factory power output. This is probably the first time, in ANY aftermarket tuning system, that CAN data has been incorporated into nitrous control. It is, quite literally, the hands down best way to approach this power adder. Way better then ANY add-on nitrous controller which comes close to costing as much as a PROcede! It's kinda funny 4) CANclear Catalyst From the first time I ever used a hardware based o2 sim (aka "downpipe fix") to surpress catalytic conversion/inefficiency codes, I knew it was a short-term solution. There are just too many potential side effects from running an o2 sim. Understandly considering that they works by trimming the rear o2 sensor values. So, in effect, they are feeding the DME inaccurate AFR data. You can minimize the side effects of o2 sims by carefully adjusting the strength/level of o2 sensor signal adjustment. But even then, there are cars (especially those with new DME software) that simply don't respond well to o2sims. And no matter how you adjusting it, you will still get some sort of code and serious drivability issues (o2 sensor trimming codes anyone?). So this feature allows us to remove your hardware based o2 sim. Or in the case of Rev2 users, set the o2 modifer back to 100%. And in doing so, your DME will not read accurate AFR data. Instead of trying to surpress the SES light by adjusting sensor values, CANclear simply prevents the DME's diagnostic routines from completing. This feature will also stay functional while the Procede is in valet mode. By default, it is disabled in the user adjustable table by setting the now-inappropriately named "o2 modifier" to 0. To activate (for off road use only), set o2 modifier to 100%. 5) CANclear Tuner Very similar to CANclear. But it deals with tuner codes instead. This means all the ususal codes typically associated with running a tune such as all 3 tuner codes, fuel pump plausability and the "burn out" code triggered by doing a burn out at the drag strip Note: The CANclear feature automatically disables itself when any codes, other than the ones mentioned above, are triggered. This is so that any other potential problem does not go unnoticed. For the time being, I'd like to email these maps out instead of pubicly posting them. Within the following week, I'll also be announcing a few other new features and how to activate/enjoy them. Following that, and sufficient feedback from v4 users, I'll post them up publically for everyone to enjoy. Yes, it's a good time to be a Procede user. I'll close the mailing list off tomorrow afternoon. At which time I'll send out the update. It will consist of 3 files (firmware, 6at map and 6mt map). Very simple! So is the progressive meth strategy now in effect? If I am running meth and I put it at 80%UT for stage 4, does this now progressivley increase the tune performance based on the meth flow signal?

WOW...SO now you suggest meth spraying if you want NO2 to be a dual nozzle system....I wanted to know for those of us who want to spray NO2, could we get away just spraying one nozzle....I mean this is getting to the point where so much is changing so rapidly that I can't seem to keep up with you SHIV!!! I want to run NO2, but to the point where I don't need to squeeze out every HP out of the block, just want it to add some more power but not to the extremity! Can I effectively spray one M10 nozzle and a 18 shot?? I want to go smaller than the 25 shot if I can stay with one nozzle meth and BE SAFE!

Suggestion to Shiv for auto-tune
I am hoping auto-tune will mean just set the max boost you want and let the tune go to work. In fact, let it just automatically adjust ignition advance. Congratulations sir! Well done in deed.

Simply Amazing. The PROcede has become so much more than just a tune in itself. It has become a total package or a one stop solution for those who want to just putt around with a few extra hp to those who like to run 11's, all combine with safety and diagnostics. I'm sure there will be more nice additions down the road. Great job Shiv!

i cant wait to test out the canclear catalyst. Ive been running into that for a long time. I even reinstalled my stock dps to check if the o2 sims were dead but everything worked properly afterwards. Immediately after reinstalling my catless downpipes, codes were thrown
