Tuning options.

Hi there gents.
First post, just bought myself an e90 320d M sport 177 and am looking to get it tuned ASAP.
I also have a stripped out Audi S4 Avant running 485bhp so am not exactly new to the modding side of things! I have searched the forum while lurking and my options see, to be:
- Evolve
- Superchips Bluefin
- P Torque

Are there any others that I haven't come across or has anyone had or know of any problems with any of the above maps?

Many thanks,

Adam.

Had my 320D remapped by P-Torque yesterday - excellent service and the car has been transformed!

They get my vote and as with most, if BMW flash the ECU they will re-install FOC....

Thanks gents, another question though....having read the Evolve sticky they only plot a graph for a pre March 2009 320d. I have also seen reference to LCI model ECUs....

I have a Sept '09 320d M Sport...is this currently mappable??

Hmmm, pics of the S4...ok then

Currently running 485bhp/525lbft which gave 3.51 - 0-60 and 8.01 0-100, so no slouch

Might give p-torque a call if they can map the later E90s, thanks for all your help guys

Had a look at the DMS website and they only list the 163bhp E90 320d...I'll give them a call tomorrow as I have a few mates with DMS remaps on their RS4s...

Does the Superchips Bluefin work on the later 177 E90s? Had a Superchips chip on my wife's Cupra for a few years now and not had any problems with it..

Car looks great in the pics mate.

What timing gear used to get those times? I was at a magazine thrash with a 525HP S4 saloon which with brutal launches did 0-60 in 4.2 and 0-100mph in 9.6.

GTI International, not sure of the timing system?

MRC Tuning who do all my tuning (and perhaps the BMW too!) have run their 520bhp S4 at 3.2 sec 0-60 and 202mph top speed at a different event. Considering the 4.6sec time for a standard 380bhp B5 RS4 I would expect any 450+bhp S4/RS4 to get under 4 secs tbh.

Pleased you like the pics....I see from your sig you like the 'ring too! Didn't get out there last year due to Mrs loosing her job but hope to get there again later this year with an Audi forum, 5th trip! Hoping to do a track day at Spa too, awesome track!

Oh yes it was a slow day in all honesty. I rekon you could knock off half a second to his 0-60 and a second to his 0-100mph. As he ran a much quicker 1/4mile at the pod than he did the day those times I quoted.

Yeah I love the Ring, went twice last year and once the year before that.

I rekon you should have plumped for a 335d!

Hi!

We were tuning the latest encrypted ECU before any other UK tuner

The remap for members is £395.00 all in, and gives power increased to 215 -220hp and 320lbs/ft torque.

We also dyno test the car before and after tuning included in the above price.
