Procede Progressive mapping for methanol-- Video
When I yelled "Fail!", I just shut the power off to the meth pump, simulating a failure (nozzle clog, empty tank, boost line to meth controller popping off/tearing. When I yelled "FTW!", I reactivates the meth system. With meth functional, you can see boost immediately shoot up to 12-13psi, wait for meth flow signal to rise and then gradually raise boost (and add ignition timing) as meth flow increases. And when meth fails, the procede sees meth flow signal fall which, at the same time, causes an immediate reduction in boost/timing, back to the non-meth tune. No more sudden on/off map transitions. Now the meth flow input becomes a vital input to the aggression of the tune. As meth flow begins to reduce slighty (due to the meth filter getting dirty), the tune will also become commensurately less aggressive. In other words, it won't wait until things get below a certain threshold before dropping boost. Simply put, there is nothing that is as invisible, safe and set-and-forgettable as this tuning approach. This firmware will be emailed tonight to the beta test list. Nitrous CANtroller is also active Cheers shiv |

So the procede wont go into valet if meth fails? It will just back down on boost/timing. Incredible feature. We dont need a harness update for this right? Jus a little DIY modification?

It should say Fail and FTW when the meth maps are actived and deactivated.
I am also pretty sure that Shiv can find a way to make something like this pop up in the dash somewhere: Seriously though, its great to see that Shiv just keeps adding good stuff to the Procede! |

Hi Shiv,
I also like the fact that you can now log meth flow in the software (along with all the other data sources). This will really allow a user to know what is going if there is anything wrong (debugging bad meth flow would be pretty hard without it). Junk
