Thin furry strip just under DVD / CD player..
Hi,
In my E92 (with nav) I have a little furry strip (like part of some velco set) on the chrome center piece just behind the ash tray and therefore below the CD / DVD player - does anybody else have this? you can't see it unless you really look for it. Cheers |

A what??? how does this work then? I must admit the dash does creak and stuff while travelling but after a few attempts of trying to determine the exact problem I found by sticking a few fingers just above the strip and pushing and the bits of plastic up it all goes quiet!!!!
![]() I was wondering what I needed to use to make it permantly quiet.... |

Basically stops surfaces touching each other and therfore eliminates associated rattle/creaking/knocking/squeaking.
Take a look at the back of the thing you plug your seatbelt into... there's more of the furry stuff there too!
