Right mirror mind of its own..

Hi,

Just want to check if this is a known issue, perhaps something i'm doing wrong before taking it to the dealer..

Sometimes when i get the car my right mirror will set itself to a completely random position... other times it will set it to where i set it to last.

I always use the same key.

I wondered if perhaps one of the motors might be failing..

any thoughts?

The same thing happened to me, but only on one occasion and I put it down to the mass of complicated electronics - computers sometimes do the same sort of thing.
What should isolate the motors is to fully cycle them several times in all 4 directions and listen for any irregularity.
Is the car still under warranty?

Weird, I had this a couple of times on mine but it's been fine lately. No idea what the cause is or what fixed it. I too always use the same key.
