Did you come here before or after your HPFP failure?

PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU'VE EXPERIENCED A HPFP FAILURE.

Basic question. I'm curious how many people were members of this forum before they had a hpfp failure and how many became a member BECAUSE of the hpfp failure.

I was well aware of the fact before I bought it, I was on here a month or two before I got mine.

I purposely left that out. I just want to know about those WITH failures.

There's a notion that forum members are more likely to complain about hpfp than the general public. So, I want to test that theory. If few people flock to this site BECAUSE of a hpfp failure, that means e90post members and their failure rates are indicative of the general population.

9000 miles, HPFP still intact. I came here first to research vanishing radio dial (fixed with polarization strip), then to research vague clutch feel (CDV).

There is no way for any of us to know the real HPFP failure statistics but I believe the failure rate is dramatically higher than BMW "estimates".
Thanks. Couldn't have said it better myself.
