Need advice for a friend 2011 328i

Hey guys,

Need some help for a friend of mine looking to lease a new 328i with X drive. Dealership is offering the following deal:

Base MSRP
$38,100
Blue Water Metallic
$550
Cream Beige Dakota Leather
$0
Dark Burl Walnut wood trim
$0
Cold Weather Package
$750
Convenience Package
$1,500
Premium Package
$1,950
Value Package
$0
STEPTRONIC automatic transmission
$1,375
Navigation system
$2,100
Satellite radio with 1 year subscription
$350
Destination & Handling:
$875
$47,550

However, he said he would give us the car at $45,500. Willing to put down $6K for cap cost reduction. They came up with a monthly lease cost of $575.

Deal or no deal?

Thanks!

E

There is a $1,840 option credit on X-drive through April, so this deal is essentially full MSRP. Not good.

Not bad but could definitely do better. $45,550 is around 95.5% of MSRP. I would shoot to be around 93% which is a little over $44k. Not sure about the xDrive credit.

The $1840 x-drive credit doesn't apply to 328XI it only applies to 2011 335XI w/ manual trans.

I stand (partially) corrected. The credit does only apply to 335i cDrive, but it can be either auto or manual trans. My error.

I'll get your friend this car for $500 over invoice or $44,785.

At 12k miles your payment would be $719 with NY taxes for 36 months

With $6k down your friend's payment would be $519/month.

PM me if you're interested.
