2007 328xi Sedan...29k?

Hey guys,

A buddy of mine pointed me to this site being that i'm just about to get what's mentioned in the title but wanted to get your opinion on realistically i should be paying for this car. Here's some of the major specs:
-2007 CPO 328xi
-27000 Miles
-Premium Package, w/ Navi
-Climate Package (rear-folding seats)

The dealer is asking $29,991 for it but he did mention they'd be willing to work with me (obviously, what sales guy says they won't right?)

KBB says the cars worth right around that price (actually 29,915 to be exact) but how much do you think i can come down from that? Never bought a bmw before so any thoughts/insight would help.

$30k is high. You should be able to get well below KBB value. I would say $24-25k would be a more reasonable starting point.

I notice you are in So Cal, so I'm sure if you look around, you will see 328i COUPES with Sport, Premium, Nav, CPO (although with higher mileage, ~35k) for $25-26k. Since you are looking at a sedan, I would knock another couple thousand off the coupe price, just for comparison.

Thanks for the response fixie. I appreciate the help.

Well after it was all said and done, i'm happy to say i pulled the trigger on it though only just slightly under 29k. I know you mentioned that i could probably find a better deal out there but it was EXACTLY what i was looking for and besides that, there were other stipulations to the deal that made it a bit more complicated.

Needless to say I'm super stoked on my first ever bmw (e90?) and can't wait to take it to the mountains!

Thanks again!

Congrats on the purchase At the end of the day, its all about the joy and pleasure it brings you, and its hard to put a price on that.

Enjoy it and be safe man!
