BMS PBX + Gruppe M = E90 330xi

Just installed my BMS PBX and Gruppe M intake on my 330xi last night and i must say it put an instant smile on my face. Difference is night and day as people has mentioned and definitely worth the money. I always complained how my 330xi drives like crap compared to my Dinan tuned 135i, but after i installed the bms and intake it really made the car fun to drive again.

I've never tinkered with an ecu on any of my cars and was initially thinking of asking Mike@N54tuning to do it for me, but i felt i could tackle this after printing/reading the instructions. The install was pretty straight forward, but definitely not for beginners and more for the mechanically inclined. The hardest part of the install was probably putting the connectors back onto the ecu and putting the plastic ecu cover back on. You really have to becareful not to force anything as you might break something. I actually broke a plastic sliding clip on the ecu cover while taking it off.

The best part was when i drove out of the garage with my fiance to do some errands this afternoon. She doesn't approve of my car modding habits especially with a wedding coming along. It kinda went like this...

Her: "Did you do something to the car? The car feels and sounds different like the 135."

Me: "No why?"

Her: "Are you sure? I swear the car feels really fast like the 135. You playing around with car and buying car stuff again?!"

Me: "Of course not, just tinkered with a few things in the engine bay while i was cleaning the car yesterday."

The BMS PBX, IMHO, is the best performance/tuning mod i've bought for the money. If you haven't done it already, i suggest you do it!

Haha with the wedding stuff going on, she'd kinda questioning my modding habits. Then again, i give her a hard time about her bag habits, so its all good. =)
