Clarification required please.. M-sport vs M-aerodynamic kit
I have an e90 LCI with factory Msport body kit. I was interested in the oem BMW Performance rear diffuser ( 51192153917 i think) and was wondering whether it will fit straight in to my Msport rear bumper. My BMW dealership told me that there was a difference between the Msport factory kit and the M-aerokit for e90s and that the diffuser would only be compatible with the aerokit bumper. Apparently the aerokit is a retrofit kit unlike the factory msport. To me, both look the same visually, so maybe there is a difference underneath or with dimensions? If someone could clear this up for me it would be really helpful.

I know there are different styles for the e92 coupe, and the same question has been asked for that before. I am asking about the e90 (lci) sedans.

from what i understand, something needs to be trimmed on the m-sport/m-technic rear bumper for the performance diffuser to fit.
there's plenty of people in the photo forum that have done this mod. hopefully somebody with more info will chime in.

The BMW performance diffuser definately fits the LCI M Sport stock rear - but as has already been mentioned some trimming is requiered.
This thread may be useful and you can PM the vendors for more info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...mance+diffuser |
