Question New Here

Hey all, whats going on. Ok so this is my first time on this sight or any BMW forum for that matter. I have never owned a BMW but I have driven a few (2001 330i, 1995 7 series forget which, and a 2003 M5 obviously my fave,) but anyway the first time I ever drove one I fell in love and dreamed from then on of one day owning one.

Ok moving on then. exactly 3 days ago I ordered a 2007 328xi 6sp man, with sport pack, heated seats, comfort access, prem hi-fi, 17" 161 wheels (cause there was no 18" option on the 328), burl walnut trim, terra int, sapp blk. I guess my question is, is there any options I didn't order that I am going to wish I had? It's not too late to add something. Also I was wondering about accessories I can put on when I get it. Any help would be great. You all seem to be pretty well schooled in BMWish. I am in Iraq now, and I can't wait to get home in April and take delivery of my new bimmer!

If you want 18" wheels, then they are available on the 328xi but only with the sport pack (which you have already ordered). For example, see the photo here. I have this option and have no regrets at all (although my car is currently wearing 17" winters since the 18" rubber is summer, not-all season). I didn't go for the premium option and instead went for leatherette and spent the savings on navigation and bluetooth integration (also iPod integration). One thing is for sure, if you are contemplating extras, focus those you cannot add later, such as iDrive nav, Bluetooth, Comfort Access (I didn't go for this but it gets high marks from people who use it - its one of those conveniences that you miss on other cars if you have it for your BMW). You can have the dealer retrofit the iPod integration kit, for example (indeed, its not a factory installed part and does not require iDrive, but is incompatible with the 6 CD changer). BTW, the 6MT on the xi is superb.

18" wheels.....

Well When I got the zhp it upgraded my wheels to 17, then I upgraded again from the style 159' to the 161's, but they are still 17. I think you can get 18's with the coupe, but they didn't give me the option for my sedan.

I really like the style 162 18" wheels. And those ones you had on that pic were cool too. Where can I find 162's or the ones from that pic? I want to use the 17" 161's for winter and get 18's for summer. Thanks!
