BMW technology and platform to possibly underpin new Saab 92
According to Automotive News, BMW's engines, transmissions, and possibly the Mini platform could very well be the basis for a revival of the diminutive Saab 92 model. Discussions between the two companies are scheduled to take place at the end of this month. The Saab 92 was last in production between 1949 and 1956.

that 92's design flow was ahead of its time. It is soooo aerodynamically correct. Too bad Saab never gotten off the ground in a correct manner. Love their cars, and love their engines.

It is always good to be associated with a legend, and the dark Green Saab 92 was a legendary car. The engine was a two-stroke two cylinder, and the car weight was something like 200 pounds. In their time, Saabs dominated the Monte Carlo Rally.
