AC issue, bad smell and mist windows!
Hey guys,
Today I got a freaking bad problem, my windows got all mist. I have noticed issues that could be related to this are. - AC started to blow not enough cold air - When I turn the car of and start it, the air that blows in doesnt smell good, like warm old air from the engine. Does someone know what the problem could be? Last edited by Norb; 06-11-2010 at 05:33 PM.. |

Freon leak by the sounds of things, isn't this a new car you just bought?

Check the seal on the lower section of your windshield. Water can leak down into the cabin, cause the AC blower to squeak/eventually fail and the passenger carpet to be wet. That water can start to rot in your AC system...which might be what you are smelling.
