Shadow code help...

I have the following codes:

2AAF - Fuel pump
29DC - Cylinder injection switch off
29CD - Cylinder 1 misfire
29CE - Cylinder 2 misfire
29D0 - Cylinder 4 misfire
29F2 - HPFP

Shadow codes:

2FCA - ?
2FDA - ?
2FDB - ?

Anyone help me out with those last 3? Car has constant SES light on and runs like it's on 2 cylinders and in limp mode. Very frustrating. Not taking it in until Thursday 7-1-10. Curious as to what the shadows are.

Off topic but yessir. lol.

I've found this:

Current Shadow Fault Codes

2FCA:

Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

2FDA:

Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

2FDB:

Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

HPFP related?

Well those arent tuner codes, so i would say yes its related to an obviously dying HPFP.

Take it in.

2FCA and 2FDA arent realated to the hpfp. I just got my pump replaced and new software update and Im getting those codes too. There are also a few members here that have gotten the software upfate and hpfp fix and are getting these codes. This seems to be a recent problem..maybe somthing to do with the new software version??

This is the answer I'm looking for. Thanks! This car can be so frustrating!

I would say it has to do with the recent software update. I just got my software updated and now I have these codes too. No other codes or runnability problems though on my car.

Recent software applies those shadow codes. They were present the moment I left the dealer with a software update and have been there for months. As far as I can tell, they are benign.

My car is running fine and I got an update about a month ago. I scanned my car and those three shadow codes ( not the fuel pump) came up also. All of you guys are saying you've gotten software updates so it seems like it's just codes due to the update. Again, my car is running great so I'm thinking it's just codes from the updates made. What scalbert said. What you guys think?

I just got the software update and recall service on pump and injectors and those same three shadow codes are showing post dealer visit.

2FCA
2FDA
2FDB

Seems to be a trend!

Wonder what they are about?

Never had any codes on my GTR! But we'll see how my new F10 535 does.

I just got the following with an SES light.

2FCA
2FDA
2FDB

Car runs fine so I cleared the codes with BT cable and am waiting to see if it comes back. My car has 125k miles and has the fuel pump and injectors replaced under the recall at about 25k. No problems since but I have noticed cranks are a little longer than they used to be.

I got the same codes over the weekend..
H2FCA
H2FDA
H2C6B
I suspect the hpfp is on it's way out now, when I give it any boost I can feel the pump pressuring up, then losing pressure, then pressuring back up.. Car is going in next week to take a look at what these codes are and why my hpfp is possibly crapping out again after being completely replaced last year.

SA told me the lpfp is on it's way out, hpfp is working fine. Also desperately needed a walnut blast, had that done and it seems to help a bit but I can still feel the surges in power. Now I have to source a lpfp, I've heard the Walbro units are working well for other guys on here. Anyone have an experience they can share with the Walbro pumps?
