"Ricer" or "Not Ricer"

On the fence on doing the interior LED upgrade (already have the license Plate LEDs)...dont want my BMW to look "Ricer".

Thoughts? "Ricer" or "Not Ricer"?

Sample images of a interior LED upgrade for reference;

Judging by every comment on the first page of the thread in the link I think most people think they're good.

White looks nice. Blue would be ricer. Cars are starting to come with LED interior lighting stock now, so if LEDs are ricer, those cars come pre-riced from the factory.

LED interior lighting is the opposite of rice. Luxury cars all have this as far as I know. My Benz came with it and I love it...

the 'lighthouse' affect the interior leds cause bothers me. there needs to be a low output led, one for the clean white light without the look at me I am a signal beacon.

I agree. The brightness is the only thing keeping me from ordering them.

Yeah, I don't know how it could be rice unless it's colored. But, who needs a light so bright they could get suntan at night? IMHO, sort of a useless mod unless your eyes are going bad. Spend your time putting on a sway bar or something that makes a meaningful difference, ha. :b Wait, you're driving a 323? Forget the sway bar and boost that mother!

They look good. Did the LEDs on my wife's IS250. Looks a lot better with the white light. Planning on doing the same to my 325.

I agree with some of your comments; I think it is the brightness that is making me a little leery.

The white light would definitely look good.

Edit - Went ahead and bought the Euphoria 6k from F1 Autohaüs

Installed them, and LOVE them...

Little on the bright side, but not bad...the nice clean white light looks very "high-end" and not ricer.

Depends... I have white LEDs installed on the door, courtesy footwell, license plate and trunk. LEDs in the maps and dome are overkill for me personally.

With the Euphoria 6k LED interior you will retain all OEM functionality without any of the lights turning off. Here are some recent pictures installed on a E92 coupe:

Magnificent. So with the e-92, you don't retain OEM functionality? Are they not doing the same thing; I just figured they might be different bulbs or one might be better.
