Please dont flame me for this but would it be possible to swap out the 335 motor into a 328? Ive never heard of it being done before.

But check out the link...this guy did the reverse. Took a Ferrari and put a Fiero engine into it. Something like buying an M3 and doing a Civic engine swap.

why would you want to do this? this is like 100x worse than the "can i turbocharge my n52" threads. if your going to do an engine swap, don't use an engine being used on the current model...thats just stupid. drop the e90/e92 m3 engine in there or a e46 m3 engine.

Considering i was curious, that i didnt pay for the car, and that i dont want to pay about 10k in differences after selling the car... no im not joking, nor did i say i was going to do this.

and maybe Justin likes his 328. ever think of that? Maybe he wants to keep it and just add more power... not everyone wants a 335.

Unless you plan on doing ALL of the work yourself, it's going to cost more than $10k. And even if you did all the work yourself, it still might be close to 10k.
