Procede V4 autotuning for sale *price lowered*
Hey guys,
I have decided to sell my Procede V4 with autotuning after owning it for 1 month. I drove 200 miles with it. It is set up for a 2007 335I with 6mt. I never changed the settings or messed with it. The unit and wiring are perfect and intact. I'm not sure what you have to do to make it work with your car, maybe get a uploaded map. I would return it if I could but I'm past the return policy amount of days (15 days). The car was quick with the Procede I just decided to go another route. Asking $750.00 picked up. Local only please. I'm located in Cherry Hill NJ. Thanks -Bob

Does this work with 2008 335 AT? It appears you changed to GIAC Stg 1....why?

I changed to the GIAC stg 1 bc it was a better tune for me, I wasn't really interested in data logging or uploading maps, I just wanted a tune to put and forget about. There is nothing wrong with the Procede, my car was real fast with it, I just decided to go another direction...
Still for sale! It will work with any 335, you just have to upload the appropriete map if it isn't exactly like my car (2007, 6mt).

BTW - The MFR sale price of a V4 is now $945. I think you'll have to provide a deeper discount to overcome the risk uncertainty to the buyer. |

Well its more than $945 with shipping but to be honest I wasn't sure what price to put it up as.
I don't want the procede because I don't like to mess with my DME. Its just my preference, I am not excited about opening it up and installing/un installing anytime I go to the dealer. I also didn't want to deal with updating maps, datalogging, etc. SOme people love the very features I dislike. Some people like messing with the car, optimizing the tune, and the ease of taking the unit off rather than paying some one to flash the car back to stock and driving to a shop to have this done. New price $750.

Yea your right the v4 is way over priced to begin with.
It offers no better performance than a jb3 for twice the price . buy yea my offer still stands. Last edited by NYYSR; 07-28-2010 at 11:17 AM.. |

I appreciate the offer but i'm going to pass. Like i said a new v4 is over 1000 shipped, this v4 was used for 200 miles, there is absolutly nothing wrong with it. Your welcome to look at the unit, wires, connectors.
I'm not going to get into details or debate but the procede is a different tune than the JB3 and offers different features. You see the indash boost, in dash afr, etc. in various posts on the fi forum. Also the autotuning feature... It also has different safety features.... view here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374508 I don't think this price is unreasonable and actually its a great way for someone to buy a procede for a 3rd less than a new one.

I would meet you in the middle. I am not sure if tech help is transferable. The best thing to do would be to email vishnu tech help since I don't want to speak for them. You would have to purchase a usb cable to connect to the procede and your computer, very minimal expense, I never purchased it because I never messed with the settings. The usb does not come with the procede and I was told by vishnu to purchase it at radio shack or any place that sells one.
Let me know!

If it's no better, than why don't you just buy a brand new JB3 PnP for $50 less than meeting the OP in the middle at $625 for a used product? There is obviously something better about it in your mind.
