Which is a better unit / better integrated unit for adding video inputs to the idrive?

They seem nearly identical. I am going on a 1100mile each way road trip soon. I have a 2007 e92 335i.

if you ask me i would go with MentholGuy because his service is A++++ and super b unit.

I got some problem with the cables but he replace no question ask at all.
his after service is great as well.

Thanks - any technical differences or are they basically identical. I just got married so money is tight and I want to make sure I get the best one. Id even ask them to come in here and comment on why they feel theirs is better. I Just want to make sure I make a good decision!!

To be honest i don't think there are big difference from both vendor.
The only differences are the back up camera kit.

The back up camera is located where the plate light area for Aleksop (full replacement)

The back up camera is located at the handle of the release trunk lock area for MenthalGuy(full replacement as well)

I prefer the one that MenthalGuy is offer is because they look more stock and I got my MTECH LED plate light installed which is really really bright. So instead if i got the kit from Aleksop i will be stuck using their LED plate light which is not the brightest out there.

But both kits are great since they are almost the same but the service from MenthalGuy is just unbeatable.
