Ok so, today I took in my car for what I thought to be wastegate rattle(Everytime I let go of the gas it makes a noise). They found that I had a chip that I guess was installed wrong and said its due to that. An engine malfunction. So they said that they werent gonna fix it due to that. and also the solenoid lines were kinda messed up.

My question is, if I take off the chip, fix the solenoid lines and use a scan tool, will all my problems go away? My SES light is on and evrytime i floor it the half engine light comes on

Why you asking questions here? Your Armo... half of your people are mechanics or make a living off rebuilding cars, you should be the one kicking knowledge to us.

Make your car stock, clear all the codes and take your car to another dealer. If they too reject you then you pretty much fucked yourself by having someone install a tune that had no real clue what they were doing.

Fixing the rattle requires replacing parts.
