I was looking into buying the Snow Performance Stage 3 kit. I looked at couple of well documented installs that you guys have done. My only question is how can I conceal the install so that the tank is hidden. I don't want to use the washer fluid tank.

BTW..What type of service would need to be performed for the dealer to see the cables installed by the kit? Or would running all black cables and tubes be sufficent? e.g...I wouldn't want to remove the entire kit if I were to get brake service done.

Theres actually a thread a lot like this i read about 2 weeks ago, use the search tool. Youll find some pretty cool stuff, i saw one guy had a custom tank to fit in his front fender.

Thanks I actually saw that thread prior to making this one. I think I'll go for a smaller tank if that makes any sense and then see if I could stick everything in the comparment under the trunk area. Im still curious as to the dealer and service

Too bad none of the vendors carries a kit which is easy to remove for service visits. hint hint

Personally, I wouldn't risk taking it into the dealer with a methanol kit. Too much at stake if they find it. Subscribed for bright ideas on how to at least make it look stock (for my own aesthetic needs).

I was thinking about installing everything in one place with all black wires and tubes. I figured maybe that way I could just remove the tank, bunch up the wires and throw some rags in there. Sounds dumb but I don't see any other way without removing body panels and going really crazy with the install

Mine is as hidden as it comes. If I take out the injector and tuck the line away, you can't tell I have it at all. I use the washer fluid tank, that's the most stealth option and it has a sensor built in when it runs low

Ever get work done by the dealer since you have had installed? Im wondering if the washer fluid tank can be separated

Separate the tank so that half can washer fluid and the other half can be meth. IDK if they make an aftermarket one or not.

BTW you have any pictures? Which kit did you use?

Yes, I didn't like anything out there. I built a plugged harness so it can be removed and installed in a very short time. I can remove the controller completely for service visits in 30 seconds.

Windshield washer fluid is basically methanol anyhow, I don't see any value in doing that.

Here are a couple. There is really no need for under hood pics because you cant see anything other than the line and injector.

No such thing as a front 1/4 panel The fender comes off in 10 minutes. Bumper maybe takes 15 minutes. I wanted it hidden.

Whats' the meth kit you have on your car? What kind of a tune, if any, and how does it interface with the meth kit? Lastly, what kind of charge pipe, would you have any pics?

Not trying to be negative here or anything, but...... If you god forbid rear end someone, and it sparks, won't the methanol kit just blow up ? I mean same could be said for the rear, but i think front is a little more dangerous.

Thoughts ?

How? A windshield fluid is a 50/50 methanol mixture, and it satisfies safety regulations. Most people run 50/50 to 30/70 mix, so unless you fill up the tank with pure meth, no reasons to worry.
