Nlakind had a custom designed intake manifold on his old 335i, haven't seen any other ones besides that on a car.

to make an all aluminum intake manifold, about 7k.
Looked into it, but the stock manifold is super strong and the hp gain will be minimal.

Evolution Racewerks is still working on it to adjust the torque curve and have more stable tq up top. there's a thread that I think Fred from EVO RW talked about it.

Did they ever finish it or are they just never going to start selling them?

I talked them about a month ago and they were almost done testing their New Manifold. ER wants to make sure everything is good until they release it to the public. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to stuffs like this.

I tend to agree. It's easy to get caught up in buying stuff for the car that adds very little benefit given the cost. If I were to make one it would probably be from carbon fiber vs aluminum. Aluminum likes to hold heat and you can be more creative on the shape and volume with CF.

umm your a little off there, the aluminum HPF intake maifold for the e46 m3 that HPF makes is $1,100 on thier website. Im sure the n54 intake manifold will cost around the same.

From what I understand the HPF manifold is going to be released with thier upgraded turbo kit, becuase there will not be any MAJOR gains on a stock turbo n54 with this manifold. To take full advantage of the air flow you need to upgrade the turbo(s).

HPF took a very long time to develope the s54 turbo kit, but look at the quality and the fact its the best kit you can buy for the e46 m3 to this date.

Im willing to wait, especially because of the new power levels we know this engine can handle now (600+RWHP)

Looking forward to 500RWHP on pump. (dreaming)

I did. It's not up for sale on it. I read the thread on N54 tech from 2010. No updates since.

sometimes vendors introduce things and dont go to market on it for any number of reasons..

market wont support price is usually the main one..

look at AR designs radiator..are they making em anymore no

HPA's M3 style rear toe link for the 335..never went to market..

It happens dude..so dont be so quick to say it is here.. until they are taking orders

Where did I say it was already here? Maybe look into it a little more and you will realize chris said he just finished up the turbo manifold. They will be making a intake manifold.
