E90 - Recirculation Button
E90 330i
Does the recirc button turn on the A/C condenser like it did on the older models? Not sure if this has been addressed, if so.. point me in the direction |

I am not sure I know the A/C (SnowFlake Button) does, I do not think the recirc button will turn ON the A/C unless you have the A/C already ON.
But I could be wrong?

I don't think so. It's now basically a switch between 3 modes: Off - draws air in from outside Automatic - recirculates based on air quality sensors On - recirculates all the time Manual says that keeping it on is not good for the car. I really miss the "residual heat" or "rest" feature though :-( |

I think if you hold the ALL button it will activate the same function as the REST button.

the "ALL" button will make both the passenger and driver side climate control temps equal when you press it so you don't have to manually change each one. Pre LCI E90's don't have this feature - we have the "REST" button instead

Recirc button just recirculates the air inside theh cabin. Nothing to do with turning on A/C.

I always hate having to change the passenger side air temp all the time; the all button sounds functional. But on a really cold day its great to press the Rest button before you go into a store and have a warm car when you get back.
