My Klasse strategy - looking for feedback

My Sparkling Graphite E90 has a some light swirls, so I don't know if I going to go with anything more agressive than than the Klasse AIO. How good is it for removing minor swirls when used with a PC orbital?

Anyway, here's what I intend to do:

1) Meguire's clay bar
2) Klasse AIO
3) 2 coats of Klasse SG

What bonnets should I use on the buffer at each step?
How much time btw coats of SG?

Any comments are welcome and encouraged. Thanks.

Klasse AIO is really a paint cleaner, and though an incredible product, will not remove your swirls. You need a polish. One of my favorites is Meguiar's Speed Glaze (#80). Use a polishing pad to apply the Speed Glaze. After polishing you can then use your AIO followed by as many layers of SG as you wish. Although you can apply SG immediately after AIO, you should wait 24 hours prior to layering another coat of SG. I apply the SG with a finishing pad.

Dawg, looks like you have a silver 335i. When you applied the SG by PC(or orbital) does it give a much better shine than applying the SG by hand?

Edit: You answered in the other thread... Thanks

Sounds like you need a mild polish before the AIO and SG. I'm assuming you're been through the detailing sticky thread?

I recently applied the AIO and 2 coats of SG and was very happy with the results. My TiAg hides swirl marks quite well, so I wasn't too concerned about those at this point. Maybe next summer I'll give it a polish if necessary.

At least 24 hours between coats of SG, I waited 3 or 4 days. Get some Lake Country polishing pads from eshine.ca for the AIO, and microfiber towels to wipe off. SG went on with a damp terry cloth and buffed off with another MF towel.

Good luck.

yes megs #80 is awesome shit!!
i personally dont like ther pad system I use the EDGE pad system.
..I go #83 with a aggresive pad to get the swirls out and scratches and follow it with #80 with a softer pad to buff out the haze and bring out the shine!!

Then i use Klausse AIo then the SG topped with souveran!!

I have a gallon of #83. It was really helpful when I owned a jet black M3. I love AIO followed by just Souveran paste wax.

There is no cure!

I wouldn't recommend the SG... I have a space gray and SG didn't do all that much for me...
