hey everyone,

so i know there are a few ppl that might be able to help me on this one, basically i am 100% sure that i am going to need a lawyer. i just wanted to know how screwed or not screwed i am and is there anyone that can help/recommend anyone.

basically i have a clean record/license and the other night i took the stang out and yes i had a little fun,... but pulled over and came out with 7 tickets... guess he was in a bad mood. lol this happen on the Hempsted turnpike at like 1:00am..

i got a speeding ticket, 2 no signal, tailgating, no front plate, tint, and expired inspection,.. im not too worried about the equipment violations obv more on the moving because i know that enough to make me loose my license..

so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx!!

If u have clean record ,I'm pretty sure judge would lighten up and little . I'm no expert on this but good luck OP !

Points and a hefty fine is all you will get. Suspension is highly unlikely

depends how bad the moving violations were if u were doing 40+ over the speed limit there might be a chance a slight chance but 30 over and all the other ones highly unlikely ive had 69 in a 40 and it was reduced to nothing but a probation with a junior license and i had to take defensive driving

In that case u don't even need lawyer , they are useless all they do is help you cut the line through those people who don't have lawyer , just go talk to prosecutor and do a plea bargain with him 。

Dude...Hempstead turnpike? WTF bro you know better. Every idiot tries to race on that road. Cops swarm that road from Hempstead to 109.

Was there anybody with you in the car?

And was the cop alone?

If yes to both questions; go to court and you will most likely see all your charges (or most of them) dropped.

Get a lawyer and plead not guilty to those tickets. If no speed was recorded and no one else was on the road then I don't see how the tailgating/speeding tickets will hold up.

Ok well I was not racing... No no one else was on the rd... And I was in one lane the whole time and he was alone till after he pulled me over like 7 cops came.. And I had 2 of my boys with me..

There not going to suspend or take you license man. I got 6 tickets and came out with 6pts but had to pay like $500 fine... Youll be fine, dont worry.

Try to remain humble and apologize in court. Try to plead your case but dont sound like your blaming the cop and youll be fine. Wish you the best
