Guys,

I need to narrow my decision down on tire brand and sizes on my 2007 335i e92

Here is what I have / will be getting next week in mail


Advan racing wheels all matte black

size: 19x8.5 front +35
19x9.5 rear + 35

Suspension: kw v2


I need to know what size i should go with: 235/35 & 265/30
235/35 & 275/35
or 245/35 & 265/30
245/35 & 275/30

Also i dont mind doing spacers if you guys recommend what and which one to get..

Also tire brand: toyo t1r , nittos, falken? or general

Go with 235/35 & 265/30 so you wont rub since you are lowered. You cannot use spacers.
I was rubbing on ET33 lowered with GY Asym with 265/30.
You should be fine and no rubbing with 265 and ET 35.

I will be interested to see if your wheels have that much lip in those offsets. I hope you post pics of your actual wheels when you get them.

I'm runnin Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics. Fantastic tire!!! They have a mail-in rebate at the moment too. I'm running 18", so my tire sizes will be slightly different than yours. Currently I'm on 245/35 fronts and 265/35 rears. Next time, I'm going with 255/35 up front and sticking with 265 rears.

Faraz, go with the 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and 19x9.5 ET35 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. If you're going to drop the car to the max with those KW V2's I would recommend also that you choose a tire with a rounded side wall such as the Falken 452, Toyo T1R, or Nitto Invo. Might help...

Front 19x8.5 35 offset
Can run 5mm upfront = 30 offset

Rear 19x9.5 33 offset
I had a very moderate fender roll and use 8mm spacer = 25 offset.
If I were to roll it some more, I'm sure I could fit a 10mm spacer = 23 offset. Without a roll, probably could still do 5mm = 28 offset.

All above using Hankook V12's and have zero rub. Lowered on HR Sport and Yellows.

Lastly, I think I might go one step bigger next time around... 245 and 275. Front looks like it would still work. Rear might then need to use only a 5mm spacer.

i really want to put 245 35 in the front beside 235 35 in the front

is 245 35 do able without any rubbing..
i dont want to slam my car alot especially i am out in colorado, maybe half inch drop or so

Based on the fact that I run 235/35, lowered over an inch, and with a spacer it does not rub... I am willing to bet you can fit 245/35 in there without a spacer.

However, that is my gut feeling. I guess it could depend on the tire manufacturer too. I hope you find it's a perfect fit because if it is, I'll be following in your footsteps.

I am in the same boat my friend. These are a special order in +25 offset, but that is what you have to do to get the wide lip. For me, that was the whole reason to get these wheels. They are not even in yet, but when they come in I will be sure to post my findings-good, bad, or ugly.

This=> 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and 19x9.5 ET35 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. tires are all about rim width not offset. you'll be fine with your standard offsets and these tires. Me? Dunno.

A previous poster suggested Goodyear F1 assymetric and I also recommend them. They are certainly great tyres as far as performance is concerned, but I don't know your priorities and budget. The tread on the F1 assy comes out wider than the Toyo and Falken for sure. They might still be fine, but I couldn't give 100% guarantee if they will rub or not. The other poster above has the F1 Assy tires on e90 sedan which I think its got around 5mm more space than your coupe. I think that Michelin PS2, Advan V103 sport, Dunlop Direzza are some of the widest tires for a given size, so those ones could possibly rub even in 265/30/19 size or otherwise be extermely close.

Also read post #2 about the GY asym 265s.
