Stock Like InterCooler upgrade

Does anyone make a upgraded IC that looks stock with better cooling etc.

Something that might slip by BMW or if using an aftermarket warranty company something one of their techs might not notice if he came out to inspect.

Does BMW sell and upgrade.

Would love a big one that's in your face but with a warranty its hard to justify.

Thanks,

Evolution Racewerks looks fairly stock, however the piping and chargepipe doesn't

FYI - it's not all about the size of the face that makes a FMIC cool better, core and end pipes are a larger part of the equation. Mine has one of the smaller faces but still produces some of the best IAT's out there.

If the ETS couplers didn't have their logo embroidered on them, I think it could pass for stock from underneath. From the outside no one can tell the difference.

Either way for the price can't be beat especially if you have meth.

+1 on forge. No cutting necessary and it looks pretty much stock.

Just did an install on an 07 335i last week. No cutting of the car is necessary. We provide better silicone connectors that are less restrictive. We will have a youtube up of the install in a few days if youre interested.

My ETS looks pretty stock, but the couplers need a lil work with a sharpie. They're black, but the inner color is bright orange. So at the ends of the couplers, a lil color/dye/paint should do the trick for std maintenance. Now if the lower pan is coming off, IMO no intercooler is gonna go unnoticed. The HPF one reuses the stock couplers, so that adds a lil more stealthiness looking from above in the engine bay. If an engine related warranty item arises, I will be swapping it out.

I can do no logo on the long straight coupler, but the coupler for the 60 degree coupler will have the logo on it. I don't have any non logo couplers here.

This is all great info and I'll be checking into each of these.

Sometimes having a warranty sucks...

Thanks Guys,
