Hi all,

I have this odd, repeating noise emanating from my 335i engine. I can only hear it during idle and it repeats every 3-4 seconds. The best way I can describe it is like a very very very faint alarm clock going off. I can't hear it while cruising and it is there whether or not the engine is cold.

Is this a normal turbo sound or should I check my baby in to the dealer?

Doesn't seem like a normal noise to me. Take it to the dealer to be safe.

I hear the same thing, its def. not a turbo sound. I have a feeling that its normal, but to be on the safe side go have it checked out.
